The Children’s Heart and Paediatric Centre (CHPC), the brain-child of Dr. Charmaine Scott, began operation in January 2005 as a private paediatric cardiac facility. We facilitate cardiac consultation, electrocardiogram and echocardiogram at one visit in one location. This is very beneficial to our parents and patients, especially those travelling from outside of Kingston.We also conduct offsite clinics at The Heart Smart Centre in Montego Bay and Hargreaves Hospital in Mandeville.

We provide accurate diagnosis for heart conditions affecting children and adolescents and facilitate timely referrals for corrective procedures both locally as well as overseas. We interact with an international team of highly acclaimed paediatric cardiologists on a case by case basis. Our electrocardiograms (ECG) and echocardiograms (ECHO) reports are generated immediately much to the satisfaction of our parents.

In addition to cardiac assessment we provide a range of services that offer a comprehensive platform for support of the total child and where relevant, the family. This includes general paediatric care, nutritional advice, counselling and art therapy. Our other services include cardiac screening for young athletes and children with Down Syndrome.

All services are provided in a spacious, pleasant, child friendly environment by our professional, efficient and caring team.

We work by strict appointments. Walk- ins are seen as the schedule allows. We see patients with and without referrals. To make an appointment you may call during our regular opening hours: Mondays to Fridays 10 am to 6pm. Some services are available on Saturdays by appointment only.  Our emergency hotline is accessible 24 hours. All major health cards as well as credit and debit cards are accepted.
